For more than 30 years I have been fortunate to call wine my hobby, my career, and my passion. In 2005 I started my journey to become a Sommelier through the International Sommelier Guild; the same year I opened my first fine wine shop in the suburbs of Saint Paul, Minnesota. But my love of wine started long before this with travels to Italy. I was captured by the way wine is so intertwined with their beautiful culture and history. Through the years, I have been a wine writer for local magazine publications, a judge in Sonoma County, a speaker, occasional travel guide, educator and consultant. Having traveled to many global wine regions to learn directly from wine makers, winery owners and locals, I continue to deepen my knowledge and love of this ever-changing industry. In addition to the Sommelier Guild, I have education credentials from The Wine Scholar Guild, The Court of Master Sommeliers, and The Society of Wine Educators. I recently moved from the Twin Cities in Minnesota to Siesta Key in Sarasota, Florida. I look forward to sharing my passion for wine with you and yours. Cheers!
